Purchasing Property

Before you purchase a property, sign a rental agreement or change the type of business :
Call the Borough Manager – (610) 932-2500 Ext. 302

Business Improvement District (BID) Assessment

Confirm with your title company that they have requested a Certification of Taxes ($20) for the BID fees if you are purchasing property within the Business Improvement District. You or your title company will be responsible for payment of BID taxes not collected at settlement.  You may also fax your request for certification – (610) 599-8303.

The Business Improvement District (BID) assessment is .0004. This assessment is approximately one-quarter of OMI’s annual budget. The balance of the budget is fulfilled with sponsors, donations, fundraising and grants. The BID receives services from OMI such as downtown beautification programs, marketing programs, events programs and other economic vitality services to increase visitors to our downtown.
