Vendor Rules

Vendor Fees Booth size is 10’ x 10’. Fees are listed on the First Friday application form and are due with the application. There are no refunds unless organizers don’t allow you to participate. First Friday is an outdoor event that takes place in rain, shine or snow, and is never cancelled, please dress and prepare accordingly.
Payment Payment can be made by cash or check made payable to Oxford Mainstreet, Inc. Online application and payment is available at: DowntownOxfordPA.org/Vendor. Application must be received two weeks before event to reserve a space and be included in all promotions; after which, applications may be accepted if there is space available. Vendor will recieve a confirmation email when payment/application is received. If you are not able to attend please call the OMI office. No refund will be furnished if you withdraw your participation.
Sales Vendors must post prices of each item offered. OMI does not offer exclusivity to vendors.
Sales Tax Vendors are responsible for collecting applicable state sales tax and reporting all sales to the Pennsylvania State Department of Revenue, if applicable. Vendors are individually responsible for conforming to all applicable local, state and federal laws.
Food Vendors Food vendors must obtain a permit from the Oxford Borough Police Department. A completed First Friday application is still necessary to participate. Food vendors will be assigned a location and will be notified approximately one week in advance with a location. If you are selling food products, consult the Chester County Health Department and follow necessary guidelines. Contact: 610-344-6246
Hours of Operation All vendors must be open from 5pm to 8pm. No booth may be left unattended during this time.
Set Up Set up begins at 4:00pm. Vendor spaces are first come first serve. Event staff will be available to help vendors locate a space, if needed. Refer to the Vendor Map for vendor setup locations. Vendors are not permitted to setup in front of or within 4-feet of doors, driveways or parking lot entrances. BID Merchants may setup in front of their businesses. Vendor is responsible for providing tables, chairs and a tent (10’ x 10’, if desired). Electric is not provided. Vendor must ensure tables, awnings, cords or any other items present no hazard to shoppers or passersby. Vendors may bring their vehicle onto the closed streets between 4:00pm and 4:50pm to unload. All set up must be completed and vehicles removed from the streets by 4:50pm sharp. If you arrive after 4:50pm, you must carry/walk into event. No cars are allowed to drive or park on the Edward Jones Lawn.
Parking Vendors are not allowed park in the Rite Aid, La Sicilia, Pizza Hut or Firehouse parking lots. Parking is available in the Municipal Parking Lot, Broad Street Parking Lots and on any open street. See vendor map for more locations.
Breakdown Begins at 8:00pm. Vendors may be able to drive their cars into the closed streets to load up if event staff or police are present.
Restrictions 1) Vendors are not allowed to “ROVE” with their merchandise at any time. 2) No booth may be left unattended during hours of operation. 3) No alcoholic beverages, illegal substances, loud music, television or “hawking” is allowed. 4) Items promoting the use of illegal substances as defined by Oxford Mainstreet, Inc. will not be allowed.
Security YOUR BOOTH AND CONTENTS REMAIN YOUR RESPONSIBILITY. Neither Oxford Mainstreet, Inc., nor the Oxford Borough, assumes responsibility for injury to persons, or loss or damage to any property of the vendor’s, including theft. In submitting this application, applicant agrees to comply with all First Friday, state and local regulations, and to save and hold harmless Oxford Mainstreet, Inc., their employees, officers, sponsors and agents from any loss or damage to any persons or property caused by applicant’s operation in connection with First Friday, and further agrees to defend said Associations for any claims for such damage.

By submitting your application you are stating that “I HAVE READ AND UNDERSTAND THE ABOVE RULES AND REGULATIONS, AND WILL ABIDE BY THEM THROUGHOUT MY ASSOCIATION WITH Oxford Mainstreet, Inc.’s First Friday. I UNDERSTAND THERE ARE NO REFUNDS ONCE I REGISTER.
